Yasuhiro OMIYA, Senior Research Fellow of Research and Development Department of PST Inc, presented a scientific report at the International Conference "AD/PD 2021," held from 9th to 14th Mar 2021 as a first author. The title was "A Pilot Study to Distinguish Between Healthy Participant and Patient with Alzheimer's Disease and Parkinson's Disease Based on Vocal Analysis: Follow-up report."

He reported a 3-group classification algorithm to separate the Healthy group, Alzheimer dementia, and Parkinson's disease with a technical method to minimize the acoustic impact of environmental differences at recording based on PST's voice-based pathophysiological analysis technology.
The older people are, the higher Alzheimer dementia and Parkinson's disease onset risks are. Thus, This report showed that PST's voice-based analysis technology could solve global social issues of aging societies.
