PST Inc. has started joint research with Kyoto University Hospital to develop a software for QOL management of gynecologic cancer patients.

PST Inc., which provides voice pathological analysis technologies "VOISFIA®" and "MIMOSYS®," has started joint research with the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Kyoto University Hospital. In this study, we used the voice pathology analysis technology of PST Inc. to quantify the factors that affect the physical condition and QOL of outpatients at Kyoto University Hospital due to gynecological cancer. Utilizing the quantitative indicators, we aim to develop and provide QOL management software that enables healthcare professionals to detect and treat patients' physical condition early and lead to behavioral changes.

【about VOISFIA®】
VOISFIA® is a pathological search engine that quantifies voice symptoms and predicts the risk of various dysfunctions and diseases with high accuracy. Currently, research and development of VOISFIA are underway in many disease areas. We aim to use VOISFIA® as a voice biomarker in many scenes from the healthcare to the medical industry.

【about MIMOSYS®】
MIMOSYS® (Mind Monitoring System) is a pre-illness voice analysis technology that visualizes the state of mind by analyzing voice changes, including the tension of the vocal cord, which is involuntarily controlled. MIMOSYS has been medically verified by Shinichi Tokuno, a Project Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. MIMOSYS users can objectively and quickly check their mental health using their familiar voice, regardless of language, nationality, gender, age, etc.

【Background】
In recent years, cancer treatment has been required to cure cancer and improve and maintain the quality of life (QOL) of patients and improve the quality of daily life mentally and socially. Every experience after this cancer diagnosis is called "cancer survivorship" and is a problem that is directly related to everyday life. Therefore, it is important to consider health data such as daily life information of patients in addition to medical examinations and tests at the time of hospital visit, but it is not easy. To solve this problem, PST Inc.'s "VOISFIA®" and "MIMOSYS®" will be introduced as technologies for quantifying objective and straightforward mental states in this research. In this research, we aim to contribute to improving health care support for gynecologic cancer patients and the development of medicine related to cancer survival.
